Looking for a 19-24' pocket cruiser, fixed keel, outboard motor, good to excellent condition, no trailer, within sailing distance to Panama City, Florida.

Yes, Texas is a bit too far though.

Re: Pocket Cruiser

You said sailing destance. That would be a long way.

Re: Pocket Cruiser

I think I should have said within a day's sailing distance.

I believe Boatman61 is between delivery jobs right now.

I agree with Badsanta, those flickas are within sailing distance even if you went west (the long way) around to get there.

I'm sure you'll find something closer though.

Re: Pocket Cruiser

I'll be listing a Flicka in a couple of weeks. Connecticut is a long way away, but I plan on selling it at a steep discount, so you could likely have it shipped and still come out way ahead. It's more "good" than "excellent", but a nice boat nonetheless.

Re: Pocket Cruiser

How about a Cape Dory 27'? on the east coast of Florida. I might even help you sail it home, great boat.

Re: Pocket Cruiser

I would have loved to consider it, but I bought a Contessa 26. I need to remove the ad.

Re: Pocket Cruiser

Jeanette, other than the full crouching headroom issue, it is hard to get a better small boat than a Contessa. I coastal cruised mine for a couple of years, and then did a 2 year trip from California to the South Pacific and back to Hawaii. Of course, that was when I was much younger and more flexible. CONGRATULATIONS. Grant.
