For Sale: Perkins 4236

Here for sale is my beloved perkins. Engine was manufactured in 1996 and installed new in my boat in 1997. Unknown hours as hourmeter does not work. Engine is still installed in my boat (and it always starts on the first turn). I believe the engine is in very good condition but I am not a mechanic, you need to do your own due deligence (bring your mechanic). Engine has no visible oil leaks. This is a complete engine with a ZF transmission. Boat is located in Miami. Asking price is U$ 4500.00. Sorry for the poor picture quality, they were taken with my phone.

Why are you selling? Do you have the numbers on the block and injector pump?

The reason for selling is that I am going for a 5 year cruise and I would like the piece of mind that a brand new engine brings ( I can afford it) . I don't have serial # here with me, I will check in the boat Sunday and post it here. I did a research on the serial # few years back and it is 1996 model made in England
