NMEA0183 to WiFi $90

Up for sale is a madmanmarine NMEA 0183 to WiFi adapter. See NTWB1 (4800 baud rate) This adapter is programmed for 38400 baud rate.

With this device you can connect your AIS receiver or transponder directly to the inputs and WiFi your AIS data to an iPad running a navigation software or send the AIS data WiFi to a laptop using OpenCpn.

I am asking $90 for the ManManMarine adapter. I also have a GPS puck that can be connected directly to a PC's USB port. Using both, one gets the AIS data and location for Open CPN. Asking $30 for the GPS puck.

Stuff is up for sale since my retirement gift to the boat was a Vesper transponder.

"NTWB1 WiFi Bridges sold prior to June 2014 created an open network
with no authentication required."

I presume it is older than 6/14?

Yes it is one of the first made. Never exposed to the weather. The network is not a secure. But the data is not exactly confidential.

If the baud rate is an issue, I believe I still have the instructions to alter it back to 4800. The device was used as described in my original posts.
