Nicro Solar Powered Vent - Stainless, 3"

Nicro Marine Solar-Powered Vent

This fan was used on a Beneteau we had on a fresh water lake years ago, and did a fantastic job circulating fresh air and preventing mold, mildew and musty air. Unfortunately, I don’t have a good place to put it on the current boat. Have kept it for many years, just because it is so cool – fans comes on with very little sun, and the battery keeps it running all night. Moves 700 cubic feet of air/hour.

This is an older model, that doesn’t have the “squared” shape of the current ones. In great condition, with no hint of rust or dents anywhere. It is powered at night by a rechargeable NiCad battery that probably needs to be replaced. One of the pictures shows the fan spinning in a blur as I held it up to a window. (Too cool!) It comes with both the intake and exhaust fan blades. Replaces NICRO 3” snap-in deck plates (fits existing holes once snap-in deck plates are removed)

Dimensions:

Vent Diameter: 3"
Cutout Diameter: 3-3/4"
Overall Cover Dimensons: 9" Diameter x 2.5" High

As for price, Defender has these on sale for their boat show">Miami Boat Show special for $152. At $65 for the fan plus $12.35 shipping USPS domestic, you can have this one in your hands in 2-3 days for less than half the Defender price.
