NEW Harken Unit 1 Furling System
Brand New Harken ESP Unit 1 Jib Reefing & Furling System
The Harken ESP Jib Reefing & Furling System is designed for the coastal cruiser or daysailer looking for an easy-to-assemble, efficient and reliable furler. Trim safely from the cockpit when it blows, unfurl when it goes light for a great day of sailing!
Features:
- Easy Assembly & Installation
- Top foil offered in (5) pre-cut sizes to fit headstay length requirements
- Bottom foil adjusts to fine-tune final length of unit – no hacksaw required
- Shackle at tack and head attach sail to furler, with sail shape controlled by halyard tension
- Marine eye and headstay wire pass through foil – no need to cut the wire during installation
- Stands Up to the Elements
- Spool made from hard lube-anodized aluminum
- Cover, flange and guard molded from glass-reinforced polymers for high strength
- Foils clearcoat-anodized for exceptional durability
- Rugged and reliable stainless steel sail feeder
- Choice of Long or Short Leg Kits to Adjust Drum Height
- Choose long leg extension kit when using a turnbuckle with swage, Norseman or Sta-Lok® terminals
- Long legs raise drum to clear anchor, reduce sail chafe and increase visibility
- Removable clamp screws allow legs to pivot out of the way for easy access to turnbuckle
- Select short leg extension kit when furler attaches directly to a marine eye at bottom of stay
- Short leg allows headsail to be closer to deck
