NAVTEC hydr. backstay adjuster IA7-17

Technical data:
Pin to pin, 25" - 32"
Pin diameter: 5/8"
Serial# 1174

Condition:
  • Age is unknown, it comes of 1991-built boat, which was in fresh water only, until 2008. Since then, we sailed it around the world.
  • The lower end has a small leak, most likely the pump, but the system does hold pressure.
A seal kit "A370-SK-017" is available for ~120: Navtec A370-SK-017 SEAL KIT FOR 12/17 INTEGRAL | Fisheries Supply
  • During our cruise, we had to change the seal at the top end. The left over parts of the seal kit "should" have the needed seals for the bottom end.
  • The pressure gauge is blind, and not working, it costs ~$200, probably not worth replacing, part# A060-01-00
  • The top jaw (anodized aluminum) has some pitting around the hole for the clevis pin.
  • The anodized aluminum housing is in good condition, see pictures

Manual:

Rebuild instructions:
I recommend to use a Navtec rigging shop or hydraulic shop, but if you want to do it yourself, here are instructions:

Current location:

USA, Miami, Dinner Key

Price:
If I can avoid shipping and you can come to Miami the next 2 weeks, make me an offer, I would think >=$200 is fair.
Shipping in the continental US is possible, but I would need to buy some packaging, count on $50 for S&H.
