Navik self steering paddle assembly

Hi
Looking for a complete paddle assembly for a Navik windvane.
Mine disappeared over the side after a misunderstanding in the summer (no names will be mentioned!)
Any help would be gratefully received!
Thanks!

I think I speak for most CFers in saying we want to hear the backstory.

Ill have a look around. There was a complete vane locally not too long ago. It would be not to bad to make one if you still have all the linkage bits.

Haha! I couldn't possibly reveal the incompetence that led to losing the paddle. Needless to say the words 'oh just drop it in the water' were uttered.
Good crew is so hard to find!

Re: Navik self steering paddle assembly

I have located a mostly complete Navik. The center push rod is missing as well and the gear driven air vane adjustment piece which I don't think it is needed if you can reach the vane ok from the cockpit.
