Mercury 9.8 short shaft outboard with fuel tank.

I have an outboard motor that runs perfectly. It was just worked over by a shop to replace water pump and a tune up.

I'd like to get $800 for it, OBO. The research I did showed comparable motors are going for $900-$1100.

It's too much motor for my 8' Walker Bay. So let me know if you are interested via direct message.

Located in Seattle WA.

Maybe not positive when it was built. The invoice I have for its last service said it had sat for about 4 years. The guy j bought it from paid $450 to get it in perfect running condition with a tune up and new water pump assembly last year. And he used it once since then. The motor was too big for him to handle physically and too much power for his dingy.

It's a bit much for my needs too but works great.
