Maxwell VW 2200 vertical windlass for sale. Excellent condition, rope capstan over chain gypsy (carried 3/8 HT galvanized chain). was driven by 24 volts. Includes all components of windlass. Runs great, some wear on chrome portion but looks good. Off of 52' large monohull during refit. In Stuart, Florida. Asking $750

I have a Maxwell HWC2200 which I presume is the horizontal version being sold. THAT WINDLASS IS UNBELIEVEABLE!!! I paid over $3K new for mine.

Mine lifts an 88# Delta along with 5/16" chain (driven with 24vdc) at a fast rate, almost as if there was no anchor attached.

I agree with SV--- A deal of the Century!
