Re: Mast Walker Mast Steps

Popeye - I have a couple of questions:

1) Any idea what they weight? (for shipping purposes)
2) They are supposed to be rattle proof, can you tell me how?

Thanks

Re: Mast Walker Mast Steps

I looked at the manufacturer's web site and learned that there are different versions of the steps with a different curvature on the back of the step to match the curvature of the mast. They were called Profiles A through F, with A essentially flat back and F the sharpest curve.

Do you know which version you have?

Re: Mast Walker Mast Steps

I do not know how there rattle proof . Looks like the way there made the weight of the spur locks in place .There's a neoprene set screw that looks like it gets backed off a little so it stops rattling .Theres a c on the back ,has a slight arch to it ,I sized it up and the arch looks like a 24" diameter.I recieved them with a boat I bought but I dont want to drill holes in my mast.
