For Sale: Martzcraft 35 ( Sydney Australia)

Launched in 1989 and with over $60k invested in the last few years if there ever was a “cruising ready” yacht she is it.

Anyone familiar with the Martzcraft 35 would know they are a solidly built, go anywhere Aussie cruising boat. I personally know of two that have circumnavigated. I believe ours to one of the best examples of a Martzcraft around.

Martzcraft 35 is a lovely boat and definitely well built. Unfortunately since the GFC and the crash in boat prices her value is not quite as you suggest.
I would think, after reading her specs, a price of around $45 to $50k would be a max !!!
If you are serious about selling her in this decade you should 'bite the bullet' and set a realistic price.
Sorry to shatter your dreams, just being realistic.

I can't get in and out of the main hatch in those boats without major contortions.

Brent Martz is a very personal friend.

Possibly the best and most knowledgeable and honest boat builder I have ever met. If it wasn't for him my own boat would not be what it is today.
You can rest assured that your boat is one of the most capable well built boats available.

Good luck with the sale. You know who ever buys it will not be disappointed. His 46's are one of the best offshore boats you could ever want.

If you have a look at Yachthub you will see our asking price has simply been picked because it is bang in the middle of the other 6 Martzcrafts on the market.

It is just an asking price, we will certainly listen to all offers and meet the market.
As for her 'specs' she is in great condition as detailed above.


Garry - Thankyou. We have cruised her all up and down the East coast and in a variety of conditions she has always looked after us well. With two growing kids now we are looking for a bigger boat- perhaps we should be considering the 46.

After a receiving a lot of interest, We have now accepted an offer subject to survey on our Martzcraft.

It is a bittersweet thing selling a boat.... It is our hope that the new owners will get as much enjoyment and satisfaction out of her as we have.

The new owners will be very happy, especially if it is their first boat.
If you seriously think of another boat, ie the 46, I know of one that is on the market at possibly at a very good price now.

We saw Moonglade in the Whitsundays a few years ago. IIRC it was on the market then as well?

Looks like a great boat, possibly out of our price range though.
