Main sail in good condition for a C&C Mega 30.

Dacron, made by North with bag. Good condition. It has a Large M and 2 numbers. Approx: luff 35 feet, foot 13.5 feet, leech 37.5 feet. Looks like original sail from a Mega 30 with labeled bag in good condition.

Sorry to hear it won't fit. Here's what I wrote in reply.

Please forgive me for my lack of knowledge regarding this sail. I was given this sail by a friend who thought it was a parachute, he stated that his father had purchased it about twenty or thirty years ago. Once I realized what it was, I told him that I wouldn’t cut it up for my project but would rather advertise it here and return any proceeds to him as he could use the cash.

It feels like it’s around 7 oz cloth but there are no markings on the bag, tag or sail itself. There are 2 reefs, all of the grommets are clean and well attached. The head plate is aluminum and is stamped Howe and Bainbridge. The nylon slides look almost unused. The cloth is a bit dusty but otherwise clean and there’s no obvious signs of wear and no tears. I’d like to take pictures however that may take a week or two as I’ll have to find someplace clean to roll it out or hang it.

I live in North Dakota. The sailing season is so short here that I can’t see this sail having been used much.

Sounds like a great deal, but 5ft short in the Luff and 1 foot too long at the foot!
