Why not hook up the Nanny to an excercise bike powered generator?

Well, before hiring, could ask how much they weigh - that always goes down well with women............

What a great way to start off the new year! Are you sailing in Arizona? I bought my trailer-sailer in Lake Pleasant at the Sailboat Shop, very nice folks.

I am itching to get away from landlocked sailing and looking to retire this year and will either take a year or so and do the Loop with my Potter or buy a boat I am looking at in Mexico and go from there. I understand your desire to change direction and explore new opportunities in life and what a great way to develop your craft

Hope this all works out for you and Chase. Sounds like a very good opportunity for the both of you. I am sure with your spirit and attitude you will be island hopping very soon.

Re: Looking for Cruising Nanny...

Has the original poster indicated how much sailing experience he has? With all the bantering going on, I would think that this would be important before making any kind of "Nanny" plans.......

Re: Looking for Cruising Nanny...

Yes I'm sailing in AZ,, sailing actually at Lake Pleasant! I love the sailboat shop guys. I made a swift move last week and ran my jib line up the mast, super not thinking, lol got stuck up there. Had to climb the mast to retrieve it. lol gave them all a great laugh.. I have no idea what I was thinking.. ever done that?

Zeta looks like you know what you want just gotta grab the brass ring and do it!

I don't know many sailors. Is it easy to say sailors are an adventurous lot? Or mostly just a bunch of boyscouts?

sorry to poo poo your comment!
but in my experiance its not rocket science sailing a boat!!

the main factor these days is to have plenty of cash!!

if chase pays my air fares i'd be happy to come along and show them the ropes,as im' sure other exp sailors on the forum would.

and happy new year
