looking for boat to buy...Help

Well i took the ASA 101 class love every minute learned much ...still reading a lot ...i would like to buy my first boat something in the 19-22 ft range... trailer would be nice i really love the Cape Dory but that doesn't need to be the first boat ....there are so many out there and I'm not to familiar as to which ones i should be looking at ...so any input will be welcome....living in Wilmington NC at the moment so some thing close buy would be nice thank you all...when i purchase my boat i will be sure to post it on the forum thank you all again mark

Hi and welcome to the forum
I would recommend a Catalina 22. these boats are fairly reasonable and don't need to be in a slip . they are very trailerable . Easy mast to step .
Great little boat . can be bought for 3 to 5 k in good condition.
There are many other good little boats out there. Just be safe and enjoy

Get some sailing experience on different boats before you start shopping for one.
