Lagoon 440, 12-berth, 2007 model

For family reasons, we must now stop our trip ASAP. Just 4 weeks ago we believed we would sail for another 18 months, many of them off the beaten track (PNG, Indonesia). So to be on the safe side, we changed many parts in July, when we hauled out. Our Lagoon 440 is in turn-key condition.

Location: Noumea, New Caledonia
Asking price: 250000 euros. This price is below market, in the hope of selling quickly.

It is an ex-charter boat, with 4 in-suite cabins / 12 berths. It comes with two 6-person life rafts, a light (36 kg) 3,10m dinghy with aluminium bottom, a 15-HP engine and a sea-kayak that seems to have been designed for the Lagoon 440, as it fits within 1cm in the forward cockpit during crossings. We also leave aboard a 1500W portable quiet generator, all tools, spare parts and consumables, 2 full tanks of gasoil (650 litres), all kitchenware, linen, safety equipment (for 12) etc...

The mainsail is functional (it was never torn), but the next owner with have to either reinforce or change it in the next 12-24 months. The two fridges are functional but worn out, they should be changed (for one fridge and one freezer, once more solar panels are added). The other issues are minor and cosmetic:
- the cushions covers (galley and cabins) are functional but worn (except for spare bed in the galley and forepeaks)
- the kitchen lower cabinets should be renovated
- the floor of the galley is worn and should be replaced
If the 3 points above could be taken care of now, the boat would immediately look MUCH better. We would have done that of course, had we known that we would need to stop our trip prematurely, and sell by the end of the year if possible.
