I have decided to sell my Kiss wind generator so I can buy some solar panels.
This is in perfect working order and includes a substantial aluminum mast mount, which will bolt to most mast widths from 5” to 8”. This machine is fitted with a 360 degree slip ring allowing the generator to face into the wind at all times, so it does not need a trip wire. Also included is the diode box on/off switch.
The Kiss and bracket are painted dark blue with white blades. A new generator is $1500.00 without mast or slip ring ($130).
$800.00 plus packaging and shipping costs.

Has this unit ever been installed? If so, how long?

Yes of course. From when if was purchased in June 2001, until last year when I unstepped my masts. When it was taken down it was in perfect working order.

Wow, Ive never heard of one going for $1500 where did you get that figure- A brand new one is less than $1k- I bought mine in 06 and its a very good unit & I paid the same price then as it is now-

From the US dealer at http://svhotwire.com/?route=product/category&path=65 who says he has bought the Trinidad company and now making them in the US for $1495. It is still on the original makers website in Trinidad at $995, but I have no idea if they can supply.
My unit also includes a substantial mast bracket and the 360 slip ring. I’ve also just received the new nose cone which will stop people asking if it’s dropped off.
