Iridium Sat Phone + Minutes ( Expensive, but a Good Deal ! )

We just returned from 11 months cruising in the Caribbean (great trip!) and are ready to part with our Iridium 9505a Sat phone. We used it primarily for hassle-free connection to Ocens.com weather and email services. Their data compression software is really good so we were able to download most files in only a couple of minutes each day. It was also a comfort during offshore passages to know the phone was safely stowed in the ditch bag ready to go...
Includes data cable so you can use the phone as a modem, 12V and 120V chargers, extra battery, handheld antenna, fixed anntenna plus cable (for mounting topsides on your boat), instruction manual, case, etc.
The phone is active and has 2200+ minutes remaining, valid until 7/31/2011. During the valid period, you can receive free text messages on the phone that are sent via an Iridium website (your friends/family go to the website to send you messages).
The value is $1/minute for the minutes, plus $750 for the used phone, for a total value of $2950. I am now offering this phone for $2200 (plus shipping) - it's like getting the phone for free!
