Re: Imagine2frolic's 46' Catamaran FOR SALE
If I may be allowed, a little thread drift in John's memory.
He and I had discussed his interest in John Lennon, and how the boat was named, and carried the album cover graphic for the "white "album on the mainsail.
Lennon was a neighbour of mine for his time in Bermuda, where he wrote much of the album.
This year, being the 20th anniversary of his death, many local musicians, some of whom played for him, have put together a tremendous show, with CDs and such for Sept 29th.
I will attend, and Mel, I'll have a cold one---for JOHN.
2 Johns, gone too soon.

Re: Imagine2frolic's 46' Catamaran FOR SALE
I seem to recall Lennon dying in 1980 about a week after I graduated from college. So unless I was on a bad acid trip at the time, I think this year isn't the 20th anniversary. More like 32nd. Anyway, rock on....

You are correct, 1980--all the more sadder.

Re: Imagine2frolic's 46' Catamaran FOR SALE
Very big Lennon memorial concert here in Bermuda to-morrow night.
I will be there--and as I promised earlier, I'll toast John's memory with a Dark 'n Stormy--or 2.

Re: Imagine2frolic's 46' Catamaran FOR SALE
Very sad news. Does anybody know the asking price? Doesn't seem to be on the website. I'm not a serious buyer, so I don't want to email myself to ask. Just think that other buyers would want to know.

Capt. Douglas Abbott died suddenly on Dec. 2, 2010 in Ft. Lauderdale. He was 62 years old.

Notwithstanding, that anyone’s passing might be a loss; I'm not certain of what has this to do with John’s passing, and the subsequent sale of “Imagine”.
To be sure, death sucks.

Hey, Blue Stocking, raise one for me, too. I never got a chance to have a beer with John in Hawaii, as we'd hoped.
