Icom M710 SSB

Used Icom M-710 Single Side Band radio very clean unit no corrosion, out of a ship not a small boat. Replaced during an up grade. Fully working and tested with full output. Open only on marine bands for transmit. Comes with mounting bracket, microphone and new power cord. Asking $750.00 I can ship in US for an additional $30.00. I only take PayPal but this does protect the buyer as well as the seller. Any questions just let me know.

Re: Icom M710 SSB

Ohhh...very tempting...I have a 710-RT on my boat and have thought about picking a similar unit up for the house.

Re: Icom M710 SSB

Hi Sorry to say but I find it too difficult to ship overseas. So this is listed for sale only within the US I apologize for that.

Re: Icom M710 SSB

Hi
I wrote saying I wanted it and for the cost of freight to Green Cove Springs Post Office they only accept us post not FEDEX as collecting general delivery or if doing Fedex I need to find out where they deliver parcels in that town.
Do you have the price now so that I can purchase it?

Re: Icom M710 SSB

I'm interested, and I'll be in Wilmington in two weeks, so I can pick it up. You won't have to ship it.

But I have some questions.

What does "Open only on marine bands for transmit" mean?
In what year was it manufactured?
What's the amp draw for this SSB?
Will it work with a Pactor modem?
If we can reach agreement, will you take cash? Paypal's fees suck.

Re: Icom M710 SSB

Open to marine bands only on transmit means just that, you can only transmit on marine ssb frequencies. You are able to listen to most others and a simple software mod will open it up but i recommend you have a tech do that as I do not have the clone cable or software needed. If you have a ham license it would make sense to do.
Have no idea what year it is but does not look too old and is very clean
Amp draw depends on transmit power and other variables but it does draw a fair amount when transmitting, you can check the icom site for specs i do not have that info right off.
Yes it will work with a pactor modem I have one with the pIII upgrade for sale as well however I do not have all the cables needed but they are not hard to get nor expensive
If you want it I would need a deposit. But you are welcome to pick it up while in town.
I am going to list both these on ebay this afternoon I need to get these sold.
