Thanks for your interest in the Radio. I'm not a ham, but a friend talked me into keeping the radio for the time being.

I didn't think I would have time to get licensed before I took the boat to MX. But I found out I can get a ship station and personal radio permit and not have to take the HAM test...

That way I can use the radio in SSB mode till I have time to take the HAM test...

Since the radio is already installed and working on my boat, it seems like a good idea to hang on to it for now.

I will keep your messages in case anything changes and it comes up for sale again.
