I don't know if it is waterproof - probably not.
No reference in manual. Was installed inside.
It is 12 v DC.

Sat Phone was demonstrated to work by former owner during survey.
Then service disconnected.
It powers up, etc.
Not sure about the quality compared to today's units.
Would imagine the data is slow, but I do not know - never used one...
