For Sale or Trade: Honda 9.9 4 stroke-sell or trade for smaller

Hi everybody,

We have a 2008 9.9 that is in good shape, probably 100 hours or less. We find it to be pretty heavy to get on and off the dinghy if it's chopppy, and we just don't really need the power. We cruised all over the place with a 5hp 2 stroke, and that suited us fine.

I'd like to either trade straight across for a smaller motor, or just sell the thing and buy something. Either way works.

We are currently in Panama, will be arriving East coast US by about 4/1, first FL, then up to Charleston.

I have a Merc 5hp 4-stroke with probably fewer hours than your Honda. I had moved down from a 10hp Honda and regretted the lack of performance. Would be happy to trade and maybe offer a little boot.

Located Daytona Beach, Florida.

Will be participating in a regatta in St. Augustine the first week in April. Then returning to Daytona.
