For Sale: Grunert 240v holding plate system

Grunert cold plate refrigeration system. 240 volts 60 hz. Includes 2 holding plates, 14x14x3. From what I can tell searching online this is the Passagemaker series.

When I bought my boat this was on it already. The shore power was plugged in and it was turned on and running fine. I left the dock that day I've been on a mooring and subsequently removed all my shore power and AC wiring. So I haven't used it since then (about 2 years ago).

I've recently removed all of it to prepare for a new 12v system - that's why I'm selling this. Everything in the pictures is included. I left the wires to the 2 thermostats, the pump and the power connected to the electrical box so it will be easy to install without having to try to figure out where the connections go. All that is needed is copper tubing, a few fittings (or use the old ones) and freon. I had the system vacuumed down but the mechanic recommended leaving a little freon in the compressor for lubrication. Each plate has it's own thermostat.

I can deliver it between Annapolis and NYC for an extra $50. Otherwise, it is at my house waiting to be picked up, in Wilmington Delaware, USA.

$900 with the pump or $850 without. The pump is missing one ear for hold down.

I know very little about refrigeration but I'll try to answer any questions you may have!

$150 each Grunert Hold Over Plates (2) 14x14x3 includes thermostat control at no charge

$150 Compressor/Condenser 230v 60HZ with dual thermostats and Johnson Controls/Penn controller - compressor believed to be Grunert

The plates and/or the pump can easily be shipped. The compressor is VERY heavy so would be expensive to ship.
