Givens cradle

I have a Givens six person raft cradle to dispose of. I am in either Orange Cty. New York, or Norwalk Ct. Wouldn't mind getting a case of Corona or Landshark, or both, for it. I will also have a Givens container after I give the lanyard a yank and see if it still will inflate. It is too bad that it will be cheaper for me to buy a new Coastal Revere raft than to service this one. So, gonna let her rip and see what happens, the let grand kids use it for a bounce house for awhile.

Dancer. I would be glad to take it off your hands. I have my raft lashed to the deck. Do you have a photo? I am in NY and can deliver beer. Ross

Re: Givens cradle

Keepondancin, who in the US was able to service a Givens? I had my 2009 model serviced in The Netherlands for 350 euros, about $400.

If you still need someone to take the hard case and the cradle, my Givens is in a valise and I would like a cradle for it.

There isn't a liferaft that is as good a design and construction quality as a Givens. I have looked at Switlik, Revere, Plastimo and others. I am happy to have a Givens, the cloth is the heaviest I have seen and the design is superior to all the others.

Re: Givens cradle

Service about $400, replace all supplies, about $500, new CO 2 bottle and possibly an inflator, couple hundred on a 20 year old raft. Not going to cross oceans now, so $1500 for a new raft, 3 year service interval, makes more sense to me.

Last attempt to find a home for the cradle.
