Hi Dave, got a better price for buying two rafts from the builder who was selling these than just buying one of them. Make me an offer, shipping would be at your cost as it is on most of the online stores. Shipping weight in original box is, approx 135# this includes the mounting bracket but not a pallett. I would guess total weight would be approx 150#. This would need to ship via truck because of the air tank. This would ship from Seattle, Wa. It would ship in its original box, strapped to a pallet.

Is the actual item in the case 135lbs because if so I'm sorry as I was looking for something in the 55lb range so I can heave it off the boat myself.

Hi, that is what the literature says. I can't pick the canister up to throw it. Probably could in a panic with adrenaline running..!

This is an offshore 8 man life raft with the Solas B package of equipment inside the canister. It is not designed to be below decks or in a locker, it is designed to be on deck, on a railing or in a designed storage compartment for life rafts.
