I am going to be posting some pictures.....It is a project that was started by someone else.....I am going to post before and after pics......in short, the boat will be able to be worked on without the hassle of having to remove any old stuff.
And will be squeaky clean on the inside. (I hate cluttered projects)

Has Sails...no engine (currently)

Are you giving it away for free or how much are you asking? Where is it located?

I would love a project at the right price but sadly this one is too far away.

If this is one of the old Cherubini designed Hunter 27s ('75-'83?), they are, or at least can be, good old boats.

Lol! I was only meaning that I would be interested if the boat were in Oregon, Anjou. Sometimes I am not very good with words.
But to answer your question - Hmmm... I would have to think about that. Not such a great place for the sailing enthusiast unless you are on the Columbia. Our harbor here has an often-closed bar. What is not here is the big crowds that you find in some areas. That is nice.

Its an open and turbulent coast I guess. Little shelter when Pacific storms roll in.

Aloha Anjou,
In addition to trees and a stormy coastline, Oregon has mountains and a very nice valley where produce of every kind is grown, shares the Columbia River with Washington, and has a high desert, good fishing, good hunting and lots of elbow room if you want it. Good skiing in winter. Portland, OR is a most bicycle and environmentally friendly city.
Other than that, pretty dismal and has way too many Californians living there. Portland used to be Headquarters for Nike running shoes and now wineries are really a big industry. Lumber and Paper used to be number one.
Oh, and Ashland has the Shakespearian Festival. Really great.
Pretty nice country.
regards,

I think Chief is in Baltimore... a long way from Portland to go on a Sunday to work on the boat...

But hey the Oregon coast is just amazing. A favourite for us Canadians.

Thanks John! I am so poor with words and explanations! Good description.
Oregon also has some of the most fantastic hiking trails such as the Pacific Crest Trail and, locally, the North Umpqua trail among many others. Some beautiful hot springs and spectacular wild rivers, high mountain lakes and numerous waterfalls. Oh - and wild kids..
