Yes, it runs! It isn't very pretty, but this cassic 7 1/2 hp Evinrude is available from original owner - my dad.

Don't sell it. You'll never find another OB that runs as well. I regret to this day having sold out 1962 Evinrude Angler 6hp. It started every time for 30 years and never failed us. It's neary $2,000 replacement has spent more time in the shop than it has on the back of our dinghy--thank goodness we bought a 5 year warranty.

I'm with HyLyte - keep it, restore it if needed. My dad's '60 Johnson "Seahorse" still runs great. They have a style that will never be replicated and a build quality/simplicity that we'll never see again.
