Ericson 27 Sailboat $4500 ready to go

Not a "project" sailboat but fully upgraded, ready for Mexico or day sailing. She is not much glitter, and a whole lot of "go". Easy to learn to sail and perfect for a veteran. Rigged to be easy to single-hand,

Sails all in good condition: Mainsail w/single line jiffy reefing, 150% genoa on Harken roller furler, new UV panels (white), Staysail, 110% Working jib rigged for furler
Running rigging: new halyards and sheets, Boom vang converts to jibe preventer, topping lift. All lines run to cockpit for easy single handing
NEW Standing rigging:
Electronics: New Garmin GPSMaps 420S Chartplotter with depth sounder, on swivel mount for easy access in cockpit or inside, Simrad 32 oversized tiller pilot, VHF radio
Nissan 9.9 OB, newly rebuilt. Old inboard engine removed, now has lots of storage where old engine and fuel tank used to be!(or install an electric motor!)
Fresh bottom paint, 4 coats last year. Cleaned gently and regularly since, in perfect condition
Fresh nonskid Kiwi-grip paint on all top-deck surfaces
Electrical system new: including New 110 V shore power breaker panel, Pro Mariner 2 charger, 2 AGM 100 AH batteries, New 12V breaker panel, 400 Watt pure sine wave inverter,
Solar panel 55 Watt on custom SS swivel post
Anchor system: self draining locker with chain pipe, bow roller, manual bow winch, 2 anchors, 30 ft chain and 100 ft rode, Stern anchor roller
Galley: New Propane double burner with 20 LBS bulk tank with new hose , propane and carbon monoxide sniffer alarm and safety valves, New Marelon thru hull and ball valve for sink
Head- in good working condition, new holding tank, new macerator pump,
No leaks anywhere in the cabin. dry interior
EXTRAS: 2 winch handles, 2 spare tillers, Complete flare kit with fresh dates, 2 new fire extinguishers, extension boat hook, 4 PFDs , New bilge pump 1000 GPH, Bilge water alarm, Extra Cockpit drain, Swim ladder, Solar fan cabin vent, New Lexan forward hatch cover with new working lifter, Clear Lexan hatchboard for great light and visibility, 2 fishing rod holders, SS propane barbeque

hello, thanks for your interest. The head is a Thetford from West Marine. As you can see in the picture in the picassa album, there is a 9 gallon holding tank directly below the bowl, with a flush valve built into the bowl. There is a dedicated fresh water supply tank for priming the bowl prior to each use. The tank can be emptied either by using the deck pump out fitting, or for when you are offshore there is a new Jabsco mascerator pump to a through hull with a new ball valve installed. it is very simple and effective.
