Engineers/Designers Needed

ENGINEERS/DESIGNERS needed to work for a builder of aluminum commercial boat company in Seattle, Wa, Contract.

Position responsibilities include:
designing vessel structures and systems to meet specs, drawings and BOM’s, lofting and nesting parts for CNC cutting (structural), performing all calculations, supporting estimators and production personnel and participating in sea trials.

Required exp.:
designing, building and using commercial vessels, familiarity with CFR’s, Standard and Classing Society rules including ABYC, SAE, AWS, ABS, DNV, and LR, drafting with AutoCAD, knowledge of 3-D drafting techniques and Microsoft Office applications.

Thank's Lynn for the response. I am not looking for work at this time. Hopefully there is someone in this forum who may be interested. I know there are people in here with a significant amount of boating experience and educations along the line of what you are looking for. I remember one guy who just graduated from some institute that related to marine systems, who made a post. I don't remember off hand who he was but I will look back in my posts to see if I can find him.
