Air Inflator - Sevylor P1210 Dual Voltage - $30.00 (+post)

We got seriously tired of huffing and pumping a bellows air pump when inflating our dinghy and other air toys. So we got an electric air pump - but - there is not always 120VAC available so we opted for the Sevylor Dual voltage which will run on either 12VDC with a "cigarette lighter" type plug or 120VAC through a normal 2-prong plug. A switch on the back side of the pump selects the voltage and then you press the "on" switch and here comes the air.

There is a hose and a variety of hose ends to fit most all of the various size inflation fittings. And we also took the flexible hose with the special end that hooks into the dinghy fill fitting and attached that to the output of the Sevylor Pump.

Additionally, this particular pump works the other way to remove all the air from the dinghy when you want to store it away or work on it. A special fitting on the hose attaches to the air inlet side of the Sevylor Pump and acts like a vacuum pump.

The best feature that makes this air inflator special is the 12VDC or 120VAC selector. If you are working on the dinghy on land then 12VDC is rarely available but 120VAC is from the dock power pedestal.

Checking around found out that dual voltage pump is no longer available and a strictly 120VAC pump costs about $53 or more while a 12VDC one is only about $20. So I put this sort of in the middle since it is really the 120VAC side that is the most valuable and useful.
