Columbia 50

If you are looking for a bluewater cruiser, we have the boat just for you. "Thistle" is a Columbia 50 sloop built in 1967. We are located in Ventura West Marina, Ventura, California. Recently hauled out in August 2008. We've owned "Thistle" for three years. Previous owners, our good friends Jim and Heather, cruised for four years aboard "Thistle."

Here are some specs:

1967 Columbia sloop designed by Bill Tripp, "Thistle" for sale for $85,000.

Perkins diesel 4-107, fiberglass hull and decks, full batten main, genoa on furler, drifter, and spinnaker. Hard dodger, bimini, nice cockpit with cushions. Three burner propane stove and oven, custom fridge and freezer, double deep stainless sinks, California king v berth, head and shower.

Great liveaboard and cruiser. Contact by PM for photos and more details. If you know of anyone interested, I would be more than pleased to forward photos and more info.

My first boat was a Columbia 30 1972 20 years ago. One day a 50 sailed past me. It was a head turner for me then, and to this day I enjoy her lines and abilities........i2f
