Cheoy Lee Clipper 42

We have to sell our Cheoy Lee Clipper 42.
This could be a great opportunity as we are open to almost any reasonable bid for her. She is our 'other' boat and in great shape for a 1977 and this last trip on her was down the east coast, Abacos and back ( now in Florida ) with all offshore except for the Norfolk to Beaufort leg without a single boat issue.

Re: Cheoy Lee Clipper 42

A little more information on the boat ...
Hull repainted 2010
Aluminum masts and spars
Yanmar
Maxprop
SeaFrost unit for the fridge.

We want her to have a new home quickly hence the williness to look at any bid, we have had to cut this trip short due to a parents illness.

Might I suggest you state a 'Ballpark Figure' followed by 'Offers Considered'... folk might feel happier knowing they're in with a chance and not just being offensive...

Offesive on this forum ??? It wouldn't happen would it?
Good call though, and I haven't mentioned an actual number because we would consider any reasonable offer that fit in with our plans. For example I know that Boatman61 would really appreciate this boat and if taken over before I move her back north then an offer around the fourty thousand mark could seal the deal. For us timing is a big part and worth passing up potential dollars for. We have to deal with a parents medical issues and also have long term sailing plans to sort out, and to have this boat in good hands quickly would ease some of the pressure.
We have also even discussed that if the right person and time frame were presented then we would even finance the situation for them, so open to any offers seems reasonable.
Now this has been said I will patiently suffer through some of the expected "take my wife ... please" offers - which I unless they come with a trust fund and full photographic evidence I will humbly refuse.

Poppet,
instead of stringing us on, Why not go ahead and give the specs. Give some decent interior pix. What city is she currently in?
You know....the things people normally do when selling a boat...or did you just see this boat anchored somewhere and get a short video?
