Chartplotter with Fish Finder / Depth Sounder

I have a Two year old Garmin 545s chartplotter with internal antenna GPS setup to thru-hull (50hz) depthsounder/ fishfinder combo. I removed it from my Valiant 40 for a Digital Radar/ Chartplotter combo, but it worked just fine and helped me navigate many tight unknown waters (often at night) It comes with
Mounting bracket/Stand
The wires necessary to connect to a 12v source
The wires necessary to hook up the sounder to the Garmin.
The 2 inch thru-hull transducer. It is the long one made for a thick hull. (it worked fine on the bottom of my V-40)
The thru hull tranducer is a upgrade btw.
The Garmin already has maps loaded into it for the coastal waters of the lower 48 United States
The whole system cost about 1100 USD. I will throw in a micro SD card that has Garmin's in detail maps for Washington up to Alaska (100+ value) if you buy at the asking price.

500 USD. You pay shipping from Utah. Or I can ship from Seattle or Astoria Oregon next month when I go back to see my boat.

PM me from here, or mrkgillis at ya hoo dot com. Thanks for looking!

I'm curious about the transducer. . . . The ideal location for it on my boat would be inside a forward water ballast tank. Is it sealed -- or could it be with generous application of goop? I.e. could it be mounted submerged in water, like a bilge pump?

Yes still for sale. I had the sender next to the bottom of the bilge. It can get wet and it is sealed. Would I put it in a tank? Not without modifing it. I would probably inclose it in plastic.
