These charts, produced by Bellingham Chart Printers are Current Edition nautical chart copies in portfolios using 256-shade Grayscale black and white reproductions of either NOAA (NOS) or NIMA (NGA) charts.
They are great backup to your GPS and plotter: don’t be caught with electronic failures and no paper charts on hand!
The 2/3 size (24" x 36") portfolio is bound with openable fasteners, fits your chart table, and is less expensive than full size reproductions. Portfolios have a cover sheet which contains the list of charts in the folio. In addition, the schematics from the government chart catalogs are shown on the folio cover. All charts are in numerical order within the folio. Sailors report that for night use of these black and white copies under red light co, the chart image displays better than the government original chart. Originals have some colors which do not display well under red light: the black and white images in these reproductions display with clarity.
