Canadian Sailcraft 36

Check her out on the link below.

Price Reduced to US $ 49.714,-

TRADES CONSIDERED

The CS 36T is one of the best-built boats I have yet sailed.” Bill Sandifer – Good Old Boat Magazine.
Designed by Raymond Wall, the CS 36 was in production from 1978 until 1985. Wall designed her to be a strong and capable offshore cruising yacht while still agile enough for club racing.
Three Rivers is the rare cutter rigged version and is well equipped for cruising.
There is not a better built boat in the price range out there! Do the homework.
Will trade up
Will consider smaller trade plus $$: C&C 27-32
Serious inquires only please
Dimensions
LOA: 36 ft 0 in
Beam: 11 ft 5 in
Maximum Draft: 4 ft 11 in
Displacement: 15500 lbs

I'm going to email this to a guy in the market. Strange thing is, he worked at CS in the '80s and may have helped to build this one. You haven't mentioned the build year or the current location, which I suspect is not Amsterdam.

You can best ask the year of construction to the seller on DIY yacht broker. He is advertising the boat on my website and knows all there is to know about this boat. How great would it be if this boat finds her way back to her builder. Please let me know if this actually falls through. Good stuff!

I'm not sure you're supposed to do what you have done. Here are a couple of guidelines regarding posting ads:

  • Do not post an ad in the Classified Ads Forum that is on behalf of a non-member or even on behalf of another member.
  • Hyperlinks to off-site webpages that are commercial entities will also be deleted without notice. You may, however, link to a non-commercial webpage - such as a personal blog - if it contains a more in-depth description, additional information or pictures. We are a non commercial site and your help maintaining it that way is appreciated.
I'm not a forum moderator. I just thought it was odd that you posted an ad for a sailboat that isn't yours, and the user ends up at a commercial website. I suppose you're trying to promote your site, but it may be against forum rules.

Normally you would be right, but since I support Cruisers Forum as a sponsoring vendor and this is what we do I think it is alright, but thank you for the heads up. By posting boats that suit the profile of a lot of people on the forum we try to both help buyers find what they are looking for and help our private advertisers sell their boat. Since we offer our services for free I think we are doing people a favor. If you guys like I will post another boat today.

Okay. Personally, I don't care. It was just a heads up. Good luck with your business. I had come across it about 30 minutes prior while at the Sailing Anarchy website.

Re: Canadian Sailcraft 36

I already thought you didn't Jay, but thanks . We are also supporting Sailing Anarchy. We try to tell al sorts of boat owners about what we can do for them. On SA you will find the typical racers and here you find more allround cruisers. Obviously we also look at motor boats. What do you think of our concept?
