Hella Cabin Jet Fan - 8EV006 239 001 - $25 each or both fans for$40 - (plus postage)

These are two "new" (meaning they have never been installed and are still in the original boxes) Hella Fans that are among all the "stuff" in our boat storage unit. I am letting them go for local wholesale or less and a fraction of retail marine store prices. They are still being sold in these stores for prices from $35 to $50 each depending upon the store.

These fans are just right for circulating air on the bridge or inside the steering station because you can point them in almost any direction. Plastic blades are protected by a high-impact plastic guard. 5,000-hour
motors. Easy to install, with about 5 1/2" cable, included.

Economy fan with similar styling to the popular “Turbo” models. Single Speed 'Jet' Fans which can be turned and pivoted in all directions, and locked in position.

I was going to make you an offer, but your asking price is pretty much retail. West Marine of all places has them for $23.

I would make you an offer for both, but shipping to California would probably not make it worth your while.

On another forum that I frequent, the custom is for people who are not involved in a transaction to keep their opinions to themselves.

The West fan looks similar but is a crap brand, not Hella. gets 2 stars and plenty of bad reviews. You should buy one.

Personally, I don't mind folks calling to my attention that there might be a better deal someplace - At my age and medical condition, I need all the help I can get these days and if I have overpriced something I would like to know so I can correct it and if necessary make a refund to whomever got the item.

In this case though it is correct and West Marine is Charging $50 plus for a Hella Fan and the quality of the Hella is far superior to the WM knock-off. Which is why I installed Hella Fans in our boat. These two were left over when it became obvious that I would never, ever be able to sail again.

I think these would work well for me and will buy both for $40 and add another $10 for shipping to Wilmington, NC where I am refitting my boat.
Not sure how we contact each other, but hope we have a deal.
