Chase,,,I had to tell some one the other day that during the packing of my boat for the trip south,,,my camera got stowed also,,where ? i have no idea..
I can tell you that the Sextant is in excellent condition,,,it was bought
originally as a back up i guess,,,like a lot of them,,,,and looks like it was only
bought out on a beach to practice with.
It still has the original adjustment card in the box from the factory,,mirrors
are gr8,the scale and drum the same with no looseness in the unit at all..
I f you do take it and find you are not happy with it,,,i have no problem
refunding your money..
Get back to me asap,i go in the water on the 29th and will be out of Newport
2 days after that,,,weather willing..

Ok Chase,i'll give you what i have from the info located on the certificate
in the case.
C.Plath
MicrometreSextant.
Year and location :Hamburg, December 1969.
Model:53203 (i'm assuming thats the model # )
Serial #33699.
Scope mag. 4 times.

This model also has the night light on the Drum.
Even comes with a copy of Mary Blewitts Sextant instructions.
More than that i cant give you Chase,i guess you could always locate the
Sextant guys up in the Chesapeake,they may be able to give you more info.
I got this with the boat when i bought it but i can use that space and weight
for about 18 cans of backed beans,,beside ,i have a Flicka20,,this thing
weighs nearly as much as the keel,,i also have a Davis 25,,much lighter but
not as accurate on a hot day.......
