Looking for stern boarding ladder 5' freeboard

You may have to have it made to specs. Can you mount permanent steps and use a swing-down or add on to the base? That makes it shorter like the first photo.

I have MarQuipt custom built steps. They were on the boat when we bought or I would never buy one. My pocket is not that deep. It is very nice, folds in the middle and locks extended. It is abut 8 feet long and can also be used as a horizontal gang-way. We also have very high free board. This is a problem as you are discovering. I like the gull wing ladders. You might find a longer one. I saw a 5-step once.
