Selling our beloved Belize 43 Catamaran after 10 years cruising. Sunny Skies is fully outfitted for distance offshore cruising and live aboard. New bottom paint, new interior, sail drives rebuilt, engines recently (750 hours) rebuilt, solar, etc. Now in Florida (Satellite Beach), leaving for Chesapeake for late summer and fall. We will be at boat show">Annapolis Boat Show in October.

Not to be nit picky, but computers are very litteral. In a search of boats under $500 yours kept popping up. As the other rants say the more information you put out there, the better the odds of finding the one who wants it.

As I am now looking for a boat, (the one that I want), the faster I can disqualify the ones I don't want, the faster I can find the one I do. I know that is contrary to what people have been taught for years in marketing school, but the internet is a serious game changer.

People no longer need to get their arm twisted by a guy in a pink pin-striped suit into "settling" for something that isn't exactly what they want because thats all thats available. Now they can search for exactly what they want for the price they want, ...somewhere on the planet.

You are competing with every boat for sale in the world like it or not. Here is what I want to see.

Features:
Sail:
Equipement:
Dates of last service:
Age/make/model of electronics:

Dinghy engine:

Including as many key words as you can will aid in computerised searches, and insure you ad will pop up for someone searching for your boat.

While I agree with Capn_Bill to a point....if you're looking at $300k boats, a simple heads up with an email should suffice...send 'em an email then jump on your private jet and go see it.

I don't know the Slacks but would be happy to know them. I looked it up and see that it is a Venezia - sort of the predecessor to the Belize. Sounds like they had some great adventures in their circumnavigation.

We just reduced the price on Sunny Skies Belize 43 to 289,000.
It is in the yard now at Port Canaveral - getting fully ready for the cruise up the East Coast. Sail drives totally rebuilt, waxed, new head, new top quality bottom paint. Anyone in the area is welcome to set up an appointment to view it on the hard - until next Tuesday.
