Re: B&G H1000 Display

I don't think it will work but I have a couple of Hydra 330s.

Re: B&G H1000 Display

Many thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, the Hydra series has a different communication protocol that is not compatible with that of the series H1000.

Re: B&G H1000 Display

Did you find displays? I have a few, including the Chartplotter. The screens on two of mine are totally shot, but I have the analog wind gauge and one other that still work.

Dear Vitesse473 (I see that you also have an Oceanis 473), I decided to change everything, and due to the bad experience with B & G, I bought the new Raymarine products, which are very interesting. With me the B & G has closed!

Re: B&G H1000 Display

In 2008 I added the Raymarine E120 and the Raymarine 4Kw radar. I installed the E120 in the center of the cockpit just aft of the table. It is a really great location when standing night watch. I have interfaced the B&G cockpit gauges and autopilot with the E120 using NMEA, but it does not work perfectly, so I will be replacing them. The B&G autopilot will not steer the boat in moderate seas and 20+ kts while flying the spinnaker. I am surprised that Beneteau would use such basic equipment on a boat of this size.

Anyway, chow from San Francisco. We will be boat #7 in tomorrow's Golden Gate Bridge 75th Anniversary boat parade.

Re: B&G H1000 Display

Did anyone come up with a useable h1000 Digital Display from this conversation? I'm in Greece, Oceanis 473 , with a B&G h1000 system that I'm very happy with (particularly the autopilot, it has handled some pretty heavy weather), but the 6 page digital display unit, it's a simple square box shape with configurable pages, has failed due to moisture getting under the facia. I'm looking for a replacement in working condition.

I'm sorry, but I think that your research will be a mission impossible! I tried the display for three years.

Yes, it's starting to look that way. Thanks for the feed back.
