This charger and charge manager were purchased in December 2011 by the previous owner of my brothers boat. We have some papers in the boxes relative to that. He began installing it, but illness forced the sale of this boat. We are doing a complete refurb of his boat including repowering, rigging, and replacing all wiring and electronics, so this was removed. It had little use before he bought the boat.

What it is:

(1) Smart Charger PSC55-12 capable of producing 15 to 55 amps depending on settings. Several power supplies can be linked together to produce 12 volts at up to 255 Amps.

(1) Smart Charge Manager SCM-12 controls the output of the power supply(s) according to the type batteries you have and the present charge of the batteries. It also ties into the Energy Monitor. The SCM follows the 3 stage charging cycle with temperature compensation. Compatabile with liquid, gel, and absorbed glass mat batteries for a fast, full charge.

These units are normally only available through contractors/installers, not direct sale to the public. So this is your chance to get one for a great price. List price of these units is $600. I am selling them for only $200.

As powerful as these units are, with this Smart Charge Manager you can add to this assembly later to increase power! Power Supply/Chargers can be connected in parallel ...their charge capacity is the sum of the individual capacities. For instance, a 15-Amp unit and a 55 Amp unit make a 70 Amp charger. Up to four power modules can be used with one Smart Charge Manager. Any combination of modules can be combined. You can have from 15 to 220 Amps of charge capacity in either 12 or 24 Volts! Up to 32 different current ratings are possible using the Ample Power mix and match approach.
