Mucho Gusto is a performance cruiser. Professionally built hull by Kingston boatyard in Kingston Ontario, rounded hull not chined. Light weight and strong. Her ability to sail in light air makes her great for long passages. With her stay sail she balances well in heavy air. With a very tall rig, rod rigging, and new lightweight running rigging she sails like a race boat. She has cruised Mexico with three different owners. I have sailed her in Mexico three times. I am not sure of the headroom exactly but our son is 6'4'' and stands in most of the boat easily. He sleeps aft of in the saloon, all the berths but the forward are about 7ft. The forward I designed so it could be extended. I have many crew that I sail with that are over 6ft and we have had problems with deliveries on many boats that don't have good berth size. This is a really roomy boat till you get forward under the flush part forward of the mast. And yes it is still for sail.

Most of the main salon and galley is 6'10 it curves down and has a hand hold running along the starboard side, that is 6'7''
