We are looking for a ketch rigged Allied Mistress, center cockpit to buy, in good enough condition to be currently sailing.

I've seen one for sale in the Bahamas that looked like it went thru a hurricane. So no need to point that one out!

Just putting the word out!

have you joined the Allied owners yahoo group? The owner of Mistress #24 posted that she is for sale only yesterday. No idea where she is located, but if you join the group, you can see the message and his email.

My wife and I just put the deposit on the Allied Mistress Ketch "Morning Light" in Myrtle Beach that the link was posted to! So that boat is under contract... Only two owner boat. Current owner has had her for 10 years... Scheduling survey soon... Super excited... I joined the alliedboatco group at yahoo a couple months ago. Yes, I too have joined the Yahoo Allied group. The one for sale by a member is in Florida I believe. We'll keep looking!

I'm friends with an ole' gent that has one here in Key West in pretty decent shape.
I think he might be thinking of selling due to health reasons, he has been away for quite a few months with family and hospitals. I suspect he is faced with making some hard decisions right now.
I havent talked to him in about 7 months, I could call him but I'd have to be gentle to not give the impression of a hearse (my wife's spelling) or ambulance chaser.

To the original poster - I am just interested in why you have chosen an Allied Mistress CC? We are about to jump aboard the one we just purchased! It would be interesting to hear why you like the boat. Most likely some of the reasons why we settled on a Mistress
