Re: Air Marine 400w wind gen, controller, tower
George this unit came with the boat when I bought it in 2010. It still has the internal regulator but uses the Xantrex C40 because it is a much better controller. It also works better with the AGM batteries we have. No conversion. The internal regulator can be bypassed by turning the adjuster all the way counter clockwise.
The rebuild included all new bearings, seals, brushes and circlips. The housing was stripped and repainted. The photos I linked are after the rebuild. I have used it for 1 1/2 seasons. The tower has all new vibration bushings, deck mount bolts and sleeves. Extra mount bushings included.

...thank you Tim for the quick reply...we have an aging ampair 100 which still works and is quiet but just doesn't have enough output to keep up with our fridge and other gadgets...we'll keep your gen under consideration...regards, George

Minus which poles? There are 2 diagonal braces and 1 vertical tower.

I was referring to the deck/mount insulators and the end fittings on the mast and supports that are usually sold as a kit.

I would not easily be able to sell the poles without that hardware. So the price would be $175 and I simply wont send you the poles.
