Affordable Catamaran Cabin in Caribbean

If you want to escape the winter and cruise round some of the Caribbean Islands, then come and join us for a while.

We rent out a couple of cabins on our Leopard 47 but cannot post prices etc on here due to the rules. However if you are interested then please contact me through here (either PM or reply), and I can give you many more details including a website with a host of photos etc.

John

Re: Affordable Catamaran Cabin in Caribbean.

Hi Greg,

Thanks for your message, and I assume you may be interested in joining us sailing in the Caribbean. My analytical skills are sharp today!

If that is the case, you may want to look at our website ( Home ) that explains what we offer as well as having lots of photos of the boat etc.

If you are on facebook, and I have only just joined, take a look at our charters so far this year, again, together with masses of photos. Search facebook for “Yacht-Purrfect”.

At the moment we are in St Lucia, returning to Antigua from Grenada after our last trip. We hope to be in the Northern section for the next few months (the Virgins etc ), before returning south towards the start of the hurricane season. I will be “offline” for a few days as we finish our journey north, so if you email me with any questions, please forgive me if there is a delay in replying.

I will also email you directly.
All the best
John

Re: Affordable Catamaran Cabin in Caribbean.

Chuckle.....I don't think so bubuin!

Most identical yachts to ours charter for about $11,000 to $15,000 a week.

A bareboat is usually over $8,000 a week.

We start at $2,000 a week and our late offers are even less

Can you point me to ANY cat about 47ft that charters for anywhere near this sum?

You are mistaken.

John

no, he is asking 2000 USD per cabin. But no more than two people in each cabin.

Re: Affordable Catamaran Cabin in Caribbean.

Yes Bubuin, you are wrong, and Andreas is correct.

We only rent out two cabins as my crew and I use the other two.

If two people rent a cabin they can choose the itinerary and starting and finishing place, so it is highly unlikely (and has not yet happened) that anyone else will rent the other cabin. In effect this means that you can charter this cat for $2000 a week (for two people!)

Even if they have friend or family join them it only goes up to $4000, and that is for 4 people.

I contend that for two people, there is no other place they may go where you can go sailing on a boat like this for $1,000 each a week. What is the most reasonable rate you have found for two people Bubuin?

Bubuin, you say that we are the most expensive charter in the Caribbean. You have not seen "Hemisphere" then. I admit that we are not in her league, but at about 150ft long she must be up there as the most expensive, at (I believe) about $250,000 (yes, a quarter of a million!) a week. However, even at this rate I reckon she is worth it as she is a stunning vessel and it was a pleasure to be anchored next to her in Antigua recently. I must admit I would love just to go on her!

Re: Affordable Catamaran Cabin in Caribbean.

I agree at $1000 a person (double occupancy) its a good price. Our first charter 3 years ago was actually on a Leopard 47 and it came to $1100 a person for the boat alone with 8 of us. And Captained/crewed charters always seem to be more expensive.

Seeing your pictures brought back some memories too!
