Never said anything about regular 180nm, just the fact it could do it would be nice.

I understand the wind does not blow all the time, which would of course knock your daily average down.

How people sail is one thing, what people know is another. As mentioned in my first post, in respectable steady trades I would be hugely annoyed if I was only doing 140nm a day, especially when I just sold a fat heavy 38ft moody which would consistently get 145/150 a day in steady trades.

Of course, never going to get anything like it if the wind don't blow, but then it would not be a steady trade wind would it?

So, as mentioned before, please stop hijacking this thread with comments that don't help me find a suitable cat!

I would like to thank the numerous pms that I have received though from various people, couple of promising ones there.

Keep them coming!

Re: A Catamaran

Hi,
I can't pm as a new member. I have a Shuttleworth Tektron 35 I'm thinking of listing soon. It's an open bridgedeck and only three double cabins, with two more convertible doubles but otherwise fits your needs . It's located in North Carolina and priced lower than your budget (if i I'm doing my currency conversions correctly) pm me back for more details
Dave

Re: A Catamaran

Thanks to all who have helped with this topic, as of yesterday we are now the proud owners of the dean 380 "Cushla".

Her base port will be Marina Bay in Gibraltar, well, as soon as the weather sorts itself out so i can move it from the South Of France!
