For Sale: 9.9 hp Mercury Marine longshaft

I have for sale a brand-new, never-been-in-the-water two-stroke Mercury Marine long shaft 9.9 hp outboard engine. It is set up for electric start and a remote throttle and wheel, so has no tiller handle, but that can be remedied with easily available parts.

It is a 3 to 4 year old model, although as I said is new and has never been used. I obtained it via an estate sale from the widow of the gentleman who had bought it. I have all the paperwork, manual, and brand new gas can and fuel hoses with it.

I would like $1,500. I'm in Gainesville, FL but could meet you pretty much within a reasonable drive if you promise to buy the coffee and talk about sailing for a few minutes. I can send you photographs if you are interested (of the motor, not of me!)

Motor still for sale. Upon checking the numbers it is a 2005 model, but never been used.
