Maybe gradually your wife could enjoy it if she felt more self-sufficient. Also I met a gentleman one tome who cruised for 3-6 months at a time, flying home for some time in between. Just a thought...

I volunteer to keep the wife company so she will not get lonely when you are away,,,,always glad to help a fellow sailor out

I live in Thailand and the boat is currently in Subic Bay Philippines. After rainy season I am thinking of taking her down to Palawan which is the Philipino island north of Sabah (Borneo)

That will be a month or so with my buddies with the wife at home. She may fly out to Puerto Princessa to met me for some local day cruising, then back home while I run the boat back to Subic.
Maybe the best of both worlds and I will see how it goes

Thanks for all the offers and I will take them under consideration
