-Entire Hull is fully complete

-Deck is complete with welded stanchions and new Maxwell deck hatches

-Hard dodger is so well constructed you would swear it was fiberglass

-Solid milled Stainless Steel rudder stock and bearings installed and functional (rudder complete)

-A chain locker big enough for a workshop (I’m 6 feet tall and I can stand up in there with the hatch closed.

-5 tonne lead keel fully enclosed

-Two layers of high grade epoxy mastic throughout interior

-1000 litre (total each) fully baffled water and fuel tanks with s/s fittings and enormous access hatches.

-The exterior of the hull and deck are simply protected with primer at this point and will need to be blasted prior to final painting.

-Heaps of original documentation about the design and construction details.

-Some internal steel framing has been completed and epoxied.

This is a great chance to get a lot of well designed and beautifully built yacht for an absolute bargain basement price. I will be losing a significant amount of money at this price, but I simply don’t have the time to put into it and would rather see it go to a good home and get on the water and over the horizon. Looks like good work, but you may be further shocked at the counter-offers for a boat without a rig or engine. There's only a small subset of potential buyers of boats who have both the desire to own steel, and the time and skills to finish off even a well-done project boat.

I should know: I'm doing exactly that, and ours was capable of sailing prior to refit.

You may wish to list more information, like type of steel plate, thickness at various points, the designer, the age of the hull, what kind of anti-corrosion treatments have been applied, and so on. There's some great-looking steel boats that won't last 10 years because they've been built improperly, and other funny-looking ones that are going to go to the grandkids because they were built right from the start. Potential buyers in steel usually know the difference.
