46 Foot Cal Motorsailer

Cal 2-46, motorsailer for sale. Located: San Diego This Bill Lapworth design remains a comfortable and safe passage maker for off-shore and coastal. It incorporates many features that are only now being recognized as added value, such as raised center cabin with large portlights to permit 270 degree panoramic view, ample dry storage for 3-4 months, stand-up engine room with work bench, and ample fuel for approximately 2,000 miles under power. There are also several distinguishing features essential for utility: (1) deep sump into which all bilges empty, to avoid water sloshing about in the cabin when heeled (2) 26 inch propeller, providing superior thrust at low 1,150 RPM to permit 0,6 gph fuel usage at >6kts (3) integrated RF grounding (4) twin longitudinal stringers for hull stiffening (5) easily accessed wiring and plumbing (no liner on the Cal 46s, all bulkheads fully glassed to the hull) (6) shoal draft and long keel for stability, access to shallow water areas and easy placement upon a tidal grid. . . Several Cals have gone around the world and many more have gunk holed around the coastal waters. A very comfortable, sound and solid cruiser that is handled easily solo or by a couple of any age. Contact for specifics. Asking $81,250 reasonable offers considered. NOTE: This boat is no longer offered through a brokerage. . .video was taken by previous broker.

Re: 46 Foot Cal Motorsailer

Great liveaboards.

There was one on Oahu for sale not so long ago. Sorry you missed it. I guess it could still be there but I haven't seen it on craigslist for awhile.

Adagio seems in better shape according to the videos. She is at a good price if this is the style boat for you.

kind regards,
